Central London Christmas Lights
X-Factor-winner-turned-chart topping popstar Leona Lewis will be switching on Regent Street's Christmas lights this week.
In a ceremony marked by spectacle and showbiz glitz, Leona will be joined by Westlife and the theatre cast of Mary Poppins for an exclusive stage show to mark the beginning of the festive season.
This year's lights tie-in with the release of the new move Enchanted from Disney, with the illuminations themselves designed to reflect the animation studio's lineage of cartoon characters from Mickey Mouse to Remi - the rodentine star of Pixar's Ratatouille.
Heart FM DJs Jamie Theakston, Toby Anstis and Harriet Scott will act as hosts for the evening.
The lights are set to be switched on this Wednesday (November 7th) outside the John Lewis store.
Address: John Lewis, Oxford St, London, W1A 1EX.
Oxford Street is London's central shopping area and houses the department store Selfridges, as well as top high street stores including the Gap, Niketown and HMV.
