Bridget Riley, Robert Sandelson Gallery, London
The work of British artist, Bridget Riley will be exhibited at the Robert Sandelson Gallery in London this month.
Riley is considered by many to be one of the most significant contemporary British artists, and has a varied body of work.
She rose to prominence in the 1960s for her Op-art images, which use geometric forms to produce strong sensations of movement and colour and it was during this period that she created her most famous works, in bold black and white, featuring dizzying optical illusions which are said to induce sensations such as seasickness or falling.
Address: Robert Sandelson, 5 Cork Street, London, W1S 3NY.
