Beverly Knight, Manchester Carling Apollo

British soul survivor Beverly Knight plays Manchester's Carling Apollo in November in support of her highly acclaimed new album Music City Soul.

Sticking close to a classic R'nB template of 1960s greats such as Aretha Franklin and Irma Franklin, Beverley has scored a number of hits including Flavour of the Old School, Coulda Woulda Shouda, Greatest Day and Come As You Are in a career that has now spanned over a decade.

Her stunning voice and finely honed songcraft has seen pick up three Mobo awards, while her charity work resulted in her being presented with an MBE by The Queen this year.

Beverley will be appearing on November 3rd.
