BUPA Great South Run, Portsmouth
Portsmouth will be playing host to the BUPA Great South Run on October 28th, following the success of the inaugural event in 2006.
The ten-mile road running event attracts both top athletes and amateur runners raising money for charity and starts in Clarence Parade, passing Portsmouth landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower and Gunwharf Quay, before running back along Southsea Esplanade to the finish line
This year, the race will also feature ChampionChip timing, ensuring the running times of all of the 18,500 runners are accurately recorded.
