Arctic Monkeys, National Indoor Arena, Birmingham
Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys are getting ready to rock the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham as part of their Humbug album tour on Friday November 20th 2009.
The group, which has recorded hits such as I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor and When the Sun Goes Down, will also be appearing at other venues around the UK including Liverpool, Newcastle, London and Nottingham.
Arctic Monkeys came to public attention in 2006 with the album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, which introduced a new breed of indie music to rival the likes of Oasis, winning the 2006 Mercury Music prize in the process.
Their second album Favourite Worst Nightmare helped them scoop two gongs at the 2008 Brit Awards and they were also nominated for the prestigious Mercury prize again, losing out this time to the Klaxons.
They have recently released their new album Humbug, with first single Crying Lightening reaching number 12 in the UK singles chart.
National Express offers music fans the ability to get to their favourite gigs quickly and comfortably.
