An Evening with Barbara Dickson, Birmingham Town Hall, Birmingham
Fans of Scottish songstress and actress Barbara Dickson who are stuck on what to buy their better half for Valentine's Day could treat them to an evening with the lady herself.
Taking to the stage of Birmingham Town Hall on the night of February 14th, Barbara is likely to belt out such hits as I Know Him So Well and January February.
The two-time Olivier Award-winning actress, who starred as Anita Braithwaite in TV's Band of Gold, recorded her first record in 1968.
She quickly became a well-known singer on the British folk circuit in the late 60s and early 70s, but her career changed direction when she met the man responsible for the award-winning musical John, Paul, George, Ringo... and Bert.
While performing in the production, Barbara was spotted by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, who invited her to record Another Staircase in Another Hall from their upcoming musical, Evita.
