Amy Winehouse, Bournemouth International Centre
Tabloid favourite Amy Winehouse brings her classic soul-influenced pop music to Bournemouth this November as part of a nationwide tour.
Following the success of her recent album Back to Black, which has now gone four times platinum in the UK and has enjoyed similar success in the US, the 23-year-old Londoner plays the Bournemouth International Centre on November 27th. True to the spirit of her 1960s sound, the show takes on the form of one of the Tamla Motown label's soul revue shows, complete with suited and booted, choreographed backing singers.
Other forthcoming events at the Bournemouth International Centre include live turns from 1960s Motown favourites the Drifters, and 1970s pin-up Donny Osmond as well as live comedy from Frank Skinner, Alan Carr, Ardal O'Hanlon and Kevin Bloody Wilson.
Address: Bournemouth International Centre, Exeter Road, Bournemouth, BH2 5BH.
