The Magdalen Bridge Boathouse offers punts, rowing boats and pedalos for hire.
Portsmouth - Whether you're looking for a day out at the beach or a day of shopping at Gunwharf Quays Outlet Shopping Centre, Portsmouth's a perfect destination for a day out. If sunbathing and shopping isn't really your thing, then this summer immerse yourself in some history at The Mary Rose Museum. During the summer, take a trip to the museum on a Friday for Free Friday Fun At The Mary Rose Museum, which offers traditional Tudor games and lots of different activities around the museum.
Nottingham - Have a day out in Nottingham and become accustomed with one of the most famous outlaws in English history, Robin Hood. Every Saturday during the summer, take the Robin Hood Town Tour, which is a walking tour around the city taking in some of Robin Hood's key places associated with the outlaw and also taking in some of the sites of the city.
Chester Zoo - From baby tiger cubs to 110 acres of award-winning gardens, Chester Zoo is a perfect summer day out for all the family. This summer the Zoo is opening its Mind-bogglingly Big Bugs attraction which features robotic giants including a stupendous 24 foot scorpion, an extra-large 10 foot ladybird and spiders.
