Points Terms and Conditions




  1. Ten (10) National Express points will be awarded per complete £1 spent on travel.

  2. National Express Ltd reserves the right to change the number of points issued at any time, without notice.

  3. Points will only be awarded to registered users who are logged in to www.nationalexpress.com.

  4. Only one National Express points account is permitted per customer. Points are non-transferable.

  5. National Express points may be exchanged as whole or part payment for travel. Customers may supplement the value of their points with credit/debit cards to obtain their chosen service to the value specified.

  6. Points will not be awarded and cannot be redeemed on bookings that are not "coach travel only"; for example, the booking of hotels and shortbreaks, airport stopovers, insurance, or coachcards.

  7. Points will be awarded but cannot be redeemed on any special offer discount fares, for example funfares or those booked using a promotional code.

  8. Points will be awarded but cannot be redeemed on open dated return tickets, as the return journey may fall in an exclusion period.

  9. National Express points earned on a booking will be deducted as required if that booking is subsequently cancelled or amended. National Express points redeemed when making a booking will not be reallocated if that booking is subsequently cancelled or amended.

  10. National Express Ltd reserves the right to decline to issue or redeem points at any time, without notice.

  11. The current redemption period runs from 15 December 2003 to 16 December 2004. Points can only be redeemed on bookings where travel is completed within this redemption period, and cannot be carried over from one period to the next.

  12. Points redemption will be excluded at very busy times. These include 1 July to 31 August inclusive and the Christmas period. Exclusion periods will be confirmed to registered users via email (unless the user has chosen not to receive any communications from us) and from their personalised homepage.

  13. National Express Ltd reserves the right to change the rate of collection and redemption as well as any dates regarding collection and redemption periods. All registered users will be notified of any changes via their personalised homepage.

  14. Customers should allow 24 hours after booking for their points account to be updated.

  15. All coach services offered by National Express Ltd are offered subject to availability.
