Winter Wonderland, Cardiff

Cardiff's City Hall lawn will once again be transformed into a Winter Wonderland this November in the run up to Christmas.

Now in its seventh year, the centrepiece of Winter Wonderland is a magical open air ice rink, offering 52 days of cool skating from November 15th to January 6th 2008.

Other attractions include a funfair, craft stalls, a live music stage, the Admiral family fireshow, a charming, heated terrace overlooking the rink and a cafe.

There will also be fabulous Christmas shopping opportunities and a handy park and ride scheme to get in and out of the retail tumult as painlessly as possible.

Further attractions in Cardiff during December include Viva La Diva, a stunning piece of musical theatre featuring Darcey Bussell and Katherine Jenkins, and the Wales Rally GB motor racing event.
