The Black and White Ball, King's Head Theatre, London
The Black and White Ball is an intriguing musical murder mystery that shows at the King's Head Theatre until May 4th.
Set in 1960s New York, the show's protagonist Leah enters a dilapidated music hall in search of a murderer and an answer to a mystery that has haunted her since childhood.
Leah is looking for the one who killed Jay St John, a celebrated author and her beloved stepfather. In addition to bringing justice to St John, she must also clear the clouds of doubt and suspicion surrounding her mother
To complete her task, she must summon her stepfather's ghost to help her remember the events surrounding his tragic death.
The King's Head was founded in 1970 and aims to provide support and mentorship to actors and aspiring theatre directors.
