Soul II Soul, The Opera House, Bournemouth

Soul II Soul play Bournemouth next month as part of the re-formed urban outfit's nationwide tour.

Emerging from London's nascent acid house scene, the band burst into the UK's pop consciousness in the late 1980s and scored hits with the seminal Back to Life, Keep On Movin' and Get A Life, taken from the album Club Classics Volume One.

Since then, dreadlocked band figurehead Jazzie B has returned to his roots as a DJ and has built up a significant following on London's soul circuit.

Now reunited with original vocalist Caron Wheeler, Soul II Soul's tour promises to be one of the highlights of 2007's live scene.

The gig takes place November 2nd.
