Leeds' International Film Festival is celebrating its 21st year as one of the UK's most ambitious and exciting film events.

Running in different venues across the city throughout November, the festival will feature an eclectic mixture of premieres, retrospectives and features from both up-and-coming and established filmmakers and old masters.

There will also be a separate children's festival, an awards ceremony and a cult "fringe" section.

The festival promises to provide both film buffs and the uninitiated with a chance to see the latest alternative cinema, hard-hitting documentaries as well as exciting outdoor projections, live music, comic book art and much more.
