God of Carnage, Gielgud Theatre, London
The God of Carnage, a comedy set around a group of feuding parents, has made its UK debut and is set for at least a two month run in London.
Among the familiar and much-loved faces taking to the stage will be Tamsin Greig, a veteran of several Shakespeare productions who is best known for her role in the TV comedy Green Wing, and Ralph Fiennes, who is no stranger to the big or the small screen.
The play was written by Yasmina Reza and sees emotions run high after a schoolyard tussle leads to some very bad behaviour from adults who ought to know better.
Bookings are currently being taken at the Gielgud Theatre for performances until June 14th, with shows each day except Sunday and Monday, and matinees on Wednesday and Saturday.
Having previously been called the Globe, in 1994 the London theatre was renamed after John Gielgud, who is considered by many to have been among the finest British actors of his generation.
Anyone travelling to the capital to see the God of Carnage could be glad to learn that National Express offers comfortable and convenient transport from cities around the UK.
