Coventry: attractions

Explore everything from castles and manor houses to a wide choice of parkland, sporting venues, theatres, shopping, historical sites and more.

Head slightly outside of Coventry and you’ll find one of the UK’s most famous tourist attractions - Warwick Castle. A feast of medieval architecture, interactive shows and storytelling, dark dungeons, imposing towers, spellbinding tales and ancient legends…

Those after something a little less adventurous should take a trip to the beautiful Arbury Hall, a 12th century estate set in more than 100 acres of 18th century landscaped gardens, or St Mary’s Guildhall, thought to be the finest medieval guildhall in the country.

Coventry: shopping

Coventry has a varied shopping scene. From major outlets and shopping centres to independent stores and quaint boutiques in and around the city, there are plenty of retail opportunities to suit all tastes and budgets.

West Orchards, Lower Precinct and Cathedral Lanes are the main shopping centres in Coventry, specialising in high street favourites. If you’re after something a little more exclusive, try Greyfriars Walk, City Arcade or Smithford Way, where you’ll be able to pick up everything from jewellery and fancy dress to lotions, potions and quirky clothing.
