Ticket types and terms and conditions

Economy Return (ER)

 

Valid where travel in either direction is on any day except Fridays and Sundays throughout the year or other standard fare days. Ticket must be booked at least one day in advance of travel. The return journey must be made within three months of the outward journey or before the seasonal cessation of the service.


Economy Single (ES)

 

Valid for a single journey on any day except Fridays and Sundays throughout the year or other standard fare days. Ticket must be booked at least one day in advance of travel.

Economy Advance Return (EAR)

 

Valid where travel in either direction is on any day except Fridays and Sundays throughout the year or other standard fare days. Ticket must be booked at least seven days in advance of travel. Open dated returns are not permitted. Refunds are not permitted. The return journey must be made within three months of the outward journey or before the seasonal cessation of the service, whichever is earlier.

Economy Day Return (EDR)

 

Valid every day except Fridays and Sundays throughout the year or other standard fare days. The outward and return journey must commence on the same calendar day. Tickets must be booked at least one day in advance.

Valid where travel in either direction is on any Friday or Sunday throughout the year or other Standard fare days.  Tickets must be booked at least 7 days in advance of travel.  Open dated returns are not allowed. Refunds are not permitted. Return journey must be made within three months of the outward journey or before the seasonal cessation of the service, whichever is earlier.

Day Return (DR)

 

Valid where travel in either direction is on any Friday or Sunday throughout the year or other Standard fare days. The outward and return journey must commence on the same calendar day. Tickets must be booked at least one day in advance.

On the Day Single (TDS)

 

Valid ticket is purchased on the day of travel. This ticket is not refundable but the journey date and time can be changed prior to your current departure date and time. Amendments must be made prior to the journey. An amendment fee will apply so please have your credit/debit card details to hand.  Please note that an excess fare will also be charged where a higher fare category applies.

 

On the Day Return (TDR)

 

Valid where ticket is purchased on the day of travel. The return journey must be made within three months of the outward journey or before the seasonal cessation of the service, whichever is earlier. Valid travel is on any day.

Open Return (OR)

Amenable non Refundable (ANR)

 

This ticket is not refundable but the journey date and time can be changed prior to your current departure date and time. Amendments must be made prior to the journey by calling 08717 81 81 78 (Calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras). An amendment fee will apply. Please note that an excess fare will also be charged where a higher fare category applies.

 

*(Standard terms and conditions*) You must cancel your ticket at least 72 hours in advance of your journey. A cancellation charge of £5 per person will be applicable.  Booking fees and insurance are not refundable.  We cannot offer refunds on part-used tickets.
