Introduction  | Sightseeing |  Airport |  Coach Station  | Activities

Our Bristol coaches invite you to a world of maritime history, beautifully landscaped gardens and architecture. Why not reap the full benefits of your coach to Bristol by taking a half or full-day guided tour, either on a Bristol bus, on foot, or via ferry?

Located on the cliffs of the Avon Gorge and designed by the respected Victorian engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the world-famous Clifton Suspension Bridge has thousands of visitors flocking to it every year. Designed in the early 19th century for light horse drawn traffic, it's hard to believe this structure carries a staggering total of 4 million cars a year!

You can't take a bus to Bristol without visiting Bristol Cathedral - the core of Bristol's history, culture and civic life! Renowned as one of the finest in the world, its tall Gothic windows and pinnacled skyline disguises the fact it was constructed more than 700 years ago. Situated on College Green, this Hall Church was originally founded in 1140 as an Abbey and comprises of beautiful architectural features, unusual memorials and a historic organ.

Our buses to Bristol promise dull moments will be few and far between! Float down the Avon River by ferry and marvel at Brunel?s SS Great Britain, the faithful reconstruction of the world's first ocean-going propeller-driven iron ship, moored at Great Western Dockyard. Step off and experience the sights, sounds and smells of life on board for Victorian passengers and crew, and touch the world's first great ocean liner as you descend under water below the glass 'sea.'

If that doesn't satisfy, hop on board one of the bright red open-top Bristol buses and get dropped off at Bristol Zoo near the Clifton area, where you'll get up close and cosy with over 450 species of animals, amphibians and insects. Educate yourself about the plant kingdom at The Bristol Botanic Gardens, or be whisked off on a magical underwater journey at the Blue Reef Aquarium. With all this on offer and more, you'll be sure to take full advantage of our National Express coaches to Bristol!
