Pride of Britain Awards 2012
Here at National Express we are pleased to announce that we have joined forces with the Pride of Britain Awards 2012 and the Daily Mirror to celebrate the achievements of some of the most inspiring and heroic people in the UK.
The annual event sees Prince Charles, the Prime Minister, David Cameron, and a whole host of celebrities come together to honour the local heroes who continue to go the extra mile for people in their community.
The Awards allow anybody to nominate their own hero, making the event truly inspirational and unique. This year's event is hosted by TV's Carol Vorderman, with celebrities presenting each award making it a memorable evening for everyone involved.
To celebrate the work of the Awards and the outstanding people of the UK, we've created a specially designed 'Pride of Britain' coach, which will tour the length and breadth of the country between 9 -14 July collecting inspiration tales from towns and cities and prestigious locations, including the set of Coronation Street.
