The Circus of Horrors, Pavillion Theatre, Bournemouth

The Circus of Horrors is a twisted yet terribly funny spectacle that brings circus entertainment into the 21st century.

Bournemouth will host this weird and wonderful sideshow on Wednesday February 27th when the circus will take over the Pavillion Theatre with its acclaimed The Asylum show.

The Circus of Horrors has gone from strength to strength since its first show in Glasgow in 1995, which was a futuristic showcase of humour and horror that ran for five years.

In 2000, a new show was unleashed on the world, a macabre tale set in 1800s London which saw a young girl running away from home to join the circus - only to find it was owned by a bloodthirsty vampire.

The Asylum is set in an absinthe-soaked Paris and is full to the brim with the Circus of Horrors' trademark mix of dark, death-defying acrobatic wonderment.

National Express operates frequent coach services to Bournemouth, as well as a number of local bus and national train services to get people to their destination.
