Soho Pride, London
Just minutes from the hustle and bustle of London's shopping mecca Oxford Street, Soho Square will this weekend be transformed into a free to attend mini urban festival for Soho Pride 2007.
The event will be marked by appearances from DJs from participating clubs Candy Bar, DTPM, Fiction, Discotec and the Edge who are scheduled to appear at specially constructed stages in Rupert Street, Denmark Street and Soho Square.
Those seeking a change of pace, meanwhile, might like to explore the area's restaurants and cafes will al fresco dining and a community market.
Soho Pride takes place from 12am to 9pm on Sunday August 19th.
Visitors to Soho might wish to take in some of the area's other points of interest including Bar Italia, which is open 24-hours a day and was a favourite haunt of 60s mods, as well as a host of stylish shops and bars.
