Regent Street Festival, London
London's famous Regent Street closes to traffic this Sunday to host the annual Regent Street Festival.
This year's festival is the finale of the India Now season that has been happening in London throughout the summer, and as such many events have an Indian twist.
A Goan beach area is to be set up outside the famous Hamley's toyshop, while a host of outdoor activities for the entire family are planned.
Puppet performances, children's workshops and horse drawn carriage tours around Hanover Square are sure to be popular with the kids.
Dance, music and street performance will include entertainment from drummers, while an Indian street bazaar is sure to bring the street to life with authentic Indian aromas of an eclectic mix of herbs and spices.
The event lasts from 12pm to 8pm on Sunday September 2nd. Closest Tube stop is Oxford Circus or Piccadilly Circus and National Express coaches heading into the capital stop at nearby Marble Arch.
