Purely Petrifying Halloween Party, Glasgow Science Centre
Glasgow's scientific hub The Science Centre will be given over to superstition and witchcraft next month for one night only for the Purely Petrifying Halloween Party.
Among the event's many attractions are stunning fire-jugging demonstrations, a gruesome Whodunnit murder trail and "gory, gloopy science shows and slimy workshops where you can crunch a cricket".
Meanwhile, a judging panel will conduct costume competitions and a extra-special TriX or Treat talent show with great prizes to be won for those deemed the best.
The event takes place on October 26th between 6.30pm and 9.30pm.
Glasgow Science Centre also houses an Imax 3-D cinema theatre and permanent interactive exhibits where children can morph their features onto celebrities' bodies and create 3-D models of their faces.
Address: Glasgow Science Centre, 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow, G51 1EA.
