Paolo Nutini, O2 Academy, Birmingham

Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini is coming to Birmingham this autumn as part of his UK tour.

The 22-year-old will be performing at the O2 Academy in Birmingham on September 29th 2009.

He is also lined-up to play at venues in Blackpool, Manchester, Portsmouth, Bournemouth and Cardiff.

With his soulful blend of folk rock, indie, pop and soul, Nutini received rave reviews when he performed a cover of Louis Armstrong's What A Wonderful World at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

He will be certain to impress supporters when he plays tracks from his 2006 breakthrough album These Streets alongside this year's record Sunny Side Up.

Some of his popular songs include Last Request, Jenny Don't Be Hasty, Rewind, New Shoes, Candy and the most recent release Coming Up Easy.

Nutini has played with a number of music legends including a duet with Mick Jagger.

He was also a support act for Led Zeppelin.
