Page 44, Carling Academy 2, Birmingham
Redditch-based indie rockers Page 44 head to the Carling Academy 2 next month, with support from the Fillmore Gears and Friends.
The four-piece group are renowned for their catchy melodic tunes and energetic live performances, which they have been perfecting for the past two years up and down the country.
"With a barrel-load of soaring pop hooks, the foursome manage to be emotive without descending into farcical emo," explains the NME.
Describing themselves as one of the most committed unsigned bands in the country, the group have attributed their success to an attention to lyrics and hard work. Among the accolades the group have obtained is the claim to the title of the best unsigned bands in the Midlands, in support of which they played the Carling Academy and went on to become the Carling Supports Champions for Birmingham 2007.
They play the venue again on June 13th.
National Express offers quick and convenient transport links throughout the country.
