Magners Paramount Comedy Festival, Corn Exchange, Brighton
With over 80 shows over the course of three weeks, the Magners Paramount Comedy Festival at Brighton Dome, running from October 4th to 20th is the place to be for comedy fans this autumn.
This year's festival features comedy talent from around the world, including Pam Ann's airline spoof show, the One World Alliance, Grumpy Old Women, Sean Lock, Phil Jupitus, Jimmy Carr and Ross Noble.
The hottest tickets of the festival however, are tipped to be for former Popworld presenter Simon Amstell's brand of intelligent humour in his show No Self, and the close-to-sold-out return of Frank Skinner to live stand-up after a break of ten years.
Skinner is one of Britain's best loved comedians and entertainers, working in TV, writing books and topping the charts with two hit singles and his return to his stand-up roots has been long anticipated by many fans.
