Ice Rink, Bournemouth International Centre

Budding Torville and Deans have been advised to get their skates on as the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) is once again transformed into an ice rink this festive season.

Situated in Purbeck Hall, the BIC's rink will remain in place until February, offering attendees 90-minute unsupervised sessions.

Session times are as follows: 9.30am, 11.00am, 12.45pm, 2.15pm, 4.00pm, 5.30pm, 7.15pm and 8.45 pm.

It is recommended that skaters arrive at the venue around 30 minutes before their session is due to start.

Other festive attractions in Bournemouth include a traditional Christmas market, a run of riotous performances of the pantomime Sleeping Beauty, which features performances from Emmerdale's Malandra Burrows, Helen Fraser of Bad Girls-fame, the Basil Brush Show's Chris Pizzey and Andy Ryan, who is, by common consent, one of the UK's leading dames.
