Henry IV Parts One and Two, Stratford Upon Avon, nr Birmingham

RSC Honorary Associates David Warner will be returning to Stratford for the first time in over 40 years to play the role of Sir John Falstaff in new productions of Henry IV Part One and Two.

Regarded by critics as among the Bard's best historical plays, the two pieces depict the story of the monarch's reign from Hotspur's battle at Homildon against the Douglas until his death and his son's Prince Hal's accession to the throne.

Both productions are set to run at the Courtyard Theatre until 14th March 2008.

Address: Courtyard Theatre, Waterside Stratford upon Avon CV37 6BB

Tickets are priced between £8 and £38.

Other plays set to be staged at the recently revamped 1,000-seater venue include the Fantastic Fox, Twelfth Night, Richard III, Henry V and Henry VI.
