Grumpy Old Women, Theatre Royal, Glasgow

The celebration of middle-years tetchiness, frustration with the modern world and the importance of good manners that is Grumpy Old Women comes to Glasgow this November for one night only.

The latest run of the highly successful show features appearances from Denise Osborne of Coronation Street, Denise Black of Bad Girls-fame and 1970s pin-up Britt Ekland, whose looks lit up the likes of the Man With the Golden Gun, Get Carter and The Wicker Man.

Also starring is Dillie Keane, who has a long and venerable theatrical career behind her, but as the programme notes unkindly has an "increasingly saggy old rear" as her behind.

Other forthcoming events at the Theatre Royal include psychedelic musical Godspell and new productions of The 39 Steps and Falstaff.
