Funeral for a Friend, The Opera House, Bournemouth

Heavy metal favourites Funeral for a Friend play Bournemouth in December as part of a tour to promote their new album Tales Don't Tell Themselves.

Since forming in 2002, the band have released three albums including the much acclaimed Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation and have scored chart hits with Juneau, She Drove Me to Daytime Television and Escape Artists Never Die.

In 2003, the band was named best newcomers in a poll conducted by metal bible Kerrang magazine, beating The Darkness into second place.

Funeral for a Friend play Bournemouth's newly refurbished Opera House on December 10th.
