Eurobeat - Almost Eurovision, Hippodrome Theatre, Birmingham
Eurobeat is billed as an hilarious homage to the world of Eurovision, the long-running amateur music extravaganza hosted every year in countries throughout the continent.
Heralding the era of interactive of interactive musicals, the show sees audiences vote for their favourite performers of the evening via text message, with all attendees assigned to one of the top ten performing countries before the show starts.
"It doesn't matter if you are from Aberdeen or Hull, tonight you are from the country you're given, so get used to it! Don't forget - you can't vote for your own country although there is nothing to stop you bribing others," the organisers explain.
Eurobeat has received much critical acclaim during its extensive tour, which lands in the Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre on June 9th until June 14th, with tickets still available online.
The Birmingham Theatre is one of the most popular in the UK, attracting nearly 500,000 visitors every year.
National Express offers visitors to Birmingham a fast and effective way to travel using coach and rail services.
