Dancing in the Streets, Birmigham
The legacy of Detroit's premier record label, Motown is celebrated in a brand new production of the hit show Dancing in the Streets, set to hit Birmingham in September.
Taking the form of the famous live revues which helped bring the imprint's roster of artists to a larger audience, the new production has been directed by Ivor Novello Award-winning director Keith Strachans.
The cast will run through a selection of Tamla classics including Baby Love by the Supremes, I Heard It Through the Grapevine by Marvin Gaye, The Way You Do the Things You Do by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and many more.
Running from September 17th to 22nd, tickets are priced between £16.50 and £24.50 (not including booking fee).
Other forthcoming theatrical events in Birmingham include the Copacabana stageshow and Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
