Creamfields festival
The UK's largest dance music event returns this Bank Holiday weekend in the form of Creamfields Festival at the Daresbury Estate in Cheshire.
Taking place on Saturday August 25th from 3pm to 6am, this year the main stage will see hotly anticipated performances from big-beat survivors Chemical Brothers, punk-funkers LCD Soundsystem, chill-out kings Groove Armada, Mark Ronson and Kelis.
Meanwhile, DJS will appear across a further five arenas at the site, with sets from Erick Morillo, Erol Alkan, Scratch Perverts and 2MANYDJs sure to be among the many highlights.
Ageing ravers and drained dancers will be able to relax in a chill-out area on the Myspace routemaster bus, which boasts sofas and a double bed.
The Creamfields festival sprang out the ashes of Liverpool's famous Cream club, which in its mid-90s pomp was widely regarded as one of the country's most important clubs.
Tickets are priced at £57.
