Chicago, Bournemouth Pavillion

The smash hit West End musical Chicago comes to the Bournemouth Pavillion this October for a two-week run.

Set in the prohibition era, the Bob Fosse musical tells the story of Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer who murders her abusive lover, the glamorous femme fatale Velma Kelly and lawyer Billy Flynn who has the power to keep them both out of prison and make them celebrities.

The touring production stars Ian Kelsey of Emmerdale and Casualty fame as Billy, Haley Flaherty as Roxie and Dawn Spence as Velma.

Opening originally in 1975, the show has since become the most successful revival ever on Broadway, thanks in no small part to a sassy score featuring the show tune standards All That Jazz and Razzle Dazzle.

Chicago runs at the Pavillion from October 22nd to November 3rd.
Tickets are priced between £15 and £30.
