What's on guide
Chemical Brothers, National Indoor Arena, Birmingham
Dance survivors The Chemical Brothers bring their righteous combination of block rockin' beats and unhinged light shows to Birmingham next month in support of new album We Are the Night.
The band emerged as part of the mid-1990s dance boom, with the albums Exit Planet Dust and Dig Your Own Hole finding favour among rock fans and dance heads alike.
We Are the Night showcases a new sound that takes in everything from electro-house to Hip-Hop but continues the band's long-established habit of outsourcing vocal contributions to the great and good.
Following the Noel Gallagher link-up Setting Sun and its close cousin Life is Sweet with The Charlatans' Tim Burgess, this time out, the Klaxons star as does psychedelics-eulogising rapper Justin Warfield.
Address: National Indoor Arena (NIA), King Edwards Road, Birmingham, West Midlands.
