Brighton Live festival
Brighton's pubs, clubs and live venues will be filled with an estimated 20,000 music fans in September for a week-long music festival.
Taking place between September 24th and 29th, the Brighton Live event will showcase over 250 local bands and 100 free gigs, including indie rockers Peggy Sue and the Pirates and The Krazed, singer songwriter Laura Vayne and funk and soul singer Seany Clarke.
The event is also intended to put the spotlight on Brighton-based labels and promoters as much as bands with music industry panels, seminars and workshops also being staged to assist and advise aspiring musicians.
Among the venues participating in the festival are the St Georges Inn, Unitarian Church, Audio and the Fair Trade Gallery.
