Brighton Food and Drink Festival
Over 50,000 foodies are expected to converge on the south coast in September for the Brighton Food and Drink festival.
The event will feature stalls selling fine local fare in the form of the Taste of Sussex festival market, while the Live food Show will showcase some of the area's leading chefs and food and drink personalities hosting cooking classes.
Meanwhile, the Sussex Beer and Wine Festival runs concurrently and includes stalls and bars offering world-class vintages and brews, and also boasts the Battle of the Bars - Bar Idol challenge, in which local barmen compete to be named the best bartender in Brighton and Hove.
Now in its fifth year, the festival has been featured in the Observer Food Monthly as well as BBC 1's Holiday series.
The food events take place in Fabrica on Meeting House Lane in Brighton's historic The Lanes, while the beer and wine events are located just a minute's walk away.
