Bournemouth Childrens Festival
Children visiting Bournemouth this summer are in for an old-fashioned treat in the form of the Bournemouth Children's Festival.
Running for six weeks from July 21st to September 2nd, the free-to-attend festival boasts 100 shows and activities including Punch and Judy puppet shows, clowns and magicians.
Children will also be given the chance to participate in a host of workshops including an African and Samba drumming session and a class which schools them in making simple musical instruments.
Meanwhile, 'juggling jesters' will teach kids the rudiments of their skills in comedic fun-filled classes.
Events are scheduled daily with staggered start times.
The festival takes place in Bournemouth's award-winning Lower Gardens.
